Mira Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

What Mira is

Mira is a Chrome extension that lets you try on clothing and accessories on a personalized AI avatar while you shop online. Mira is built by Arium. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Your name and email, when you sign in with Google, to create and identify your Mira account
  • The photo you upload and the measurements you provide (such as height and weight), used to generate your avatar
  • Your generated avatar images
  • The product image, title, and URL of items you choose to try on. Mira reads only the product on the page you are actively viewing — it does not track your general browsing
  • Basic usage events — when you sign in, create an avatar, or generate a try-on — to understand how the product is used. These contain no images or message content
If you have connected your KO account on the KO website, Mira may also display items you already own so you can see your wardrobe alongside your try-ons. Mira itself does not access your email or accounts; that purchase data is collected by KO — see the KO Privacy Policy for details.

How we use your data

  • To generate your avatar from the photo and measurements you provide
  • To render the products you choose onto your avatar
  • To save the looks you create and remember your preferences
  • To understand how Mira is used and improve the product
Your photos and measurements are used only to create and render your avatar. We do not use them for facial recognition or biometric identification, and we do not share them for those purposes. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

AI and third-party services

To generate your avatar and render try-ons, your photo and the product images are sent to our image-generation and try-on providers — Google's Gemini API and Kling AI — and processed to produce the result. These providers may process and temporarily store this data on servers outside your country (for example, Kling processes images in Singapore and deletes generated try-on images after a short retention period, currently 30 days). We do not permit these providers to use your data to train their models. We also rely on cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and storage; these providers process data only to operate the service.

When you sign in with Google, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use a product-analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how Mira is used. From the Mira side panel we send a small set of named usage events — such as sign-in, avatar created, try-on started, outfit saved, and upgrade/paywall events — tied to your account. These contain no photos, no message content, and no product URLs or browsing history; analytics never runs on the pages you browse.

How it's stored and protected

  • Your account, avatar, and saved looks are stored on our managed cloud infrastructure, which encrypts data at rest. Your avatar and recent results are also cached locally in your browser for performance.
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between your device, Mira, and our service providers.
  • Mira does not use cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
  • Access to user data is restricted to a small number of authorized Arium personnel, only when needed to operate, debug, or improve the service.
  • If a security incident affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and any relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Data retention

We keep your account, avatar, and saved looks while your account is active. Generated try-on images held by our try-on provider are automatically deleted after a short period (currently 30 days). You can delete your avatar, saved looks, or entire account at any time by emailing yujin@ko-fit.app, and we will delete your data within 30 days.

Children

Mira is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the product evolves and revise the date above.
